Welcome to Shin-Matsuba Ryokan

Shin-Matsuba Ryokan is a small traditional Japanese inn located in the Tohoku region, also known as Michinoku. The inn has 17 guest rooms and nestled in the natural surroundings.

Iizaka Onsen (Iizaka Hot Springs) where the inn is situated is easy to access from Tokyo. The travel takes only two hours.

We have two private outdoor onsen overlooking a nice waterfall and surrounded by trees. The hot water in the tubs is coming directly from a local hot spring.

We recommend you to try one of our best Kaiseki dinners (tasting menus of local Japanese dishes). For those who prefer to eat out, we accept reservations for a room and breakfast as well.

Reviews and photos posted by our past guests are now available.
